I not too long ago purchased a 2001 Miata with a torn roof. This patch is the way to go and the instruction sheet from Empire Toy was very useful. Make positive you plan out how you want to apply the patch. It's Pretty sticky and bonds immediately. I cannot believe I fixed my convertible for so low-priced and you can't even see the patch (it really is clear/transparent). I even had some patch left more than! Ordered the Tear Help about 1 month ago. I believed it was incredibly reasonably priced and arrived in less than a week. Purchased to use it on quite a few tears on a Miata convertible leading. Appreciated one more critique about cautiously preparing placement since the materials is really sticky. I did that, and applied patches to each sides relatively readily. Cutting material with X-acto knife on self-healing mat worked well. Rounded corners by cutting about a coin placed at corners. Burnished patch material down well per instructions - which were hassle-free and simple and easy to recognize. So far, patch is staying down effectively. We've had a little heat and a tiny rain. The test will be 6 months from now, if it is nevertheless holding sturdy. But assuming it will - awesome patching material at a affordable cost.
